I’m Ash Brown, an ecological designer and rewilding specialist based in Devon. I support landowners to transform their land into beautiful, biodiverse, self-sustaining ecosystems – no matter the size or starting condition.

I have been growing Ecosystem Restoration Communities for the last decade demonstrating how to restore degraded ecosystems around the world. My approach combines Ecosystem Restoration, Rewilding, Permaculture and Agroecology, producing a miraculous abundance of life at all sizes and scales.

If you are looking to bring life into your land but aren’t sure to get there – I’m here to help you!

Why Work With Me

How We Work Together

  • Contact me for a free consultation where you can share your thoughts, ideas and plans for your land. I can then give you an estimated quote of how much it would cost to work with me. The size of the site will dictate the way we work together.

  • The next step is to visit your site and walk the land with you. This will include a visual assessment of the health and condition of the land, as well as a discussion of your observations and goals. The number of days required will vary depending on the size of the site and the level of intervention needed. Following the site visit, I will prepare and provide you with a quote for the development of a management plan or garden design.

  • For larger sites, a management plan outlines what’s needed to achieve your goals for the land. It can be highly detailed and fully budgeted, or lighter in scope with indicative costs, depending on your needs and budget. Using the information gathered in the first phase, I will provide a quote for the time required to develop your plan

  • You may want to do the work to implement the plan/design yourself, or you may want support from me and my network of contractors, or a mixture of both. This can be discussed and decided on a case-by-case basis, as every project - just like land - is unique!

  • During the implementation phase, if you decide that you’d like to mainly implement your rewilding plan yourself, I offer ongoing support in the form of phone/video calls, as well as site visits if needed, to ensure that you feel supported as you embark on your rewilding journey! I can also come back to your site and collect data to help you get a sense of how the land is changing.
